Suzy Kolber (born Suzanne Lisa Kolber) was born in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia on the 14th of May 1964. Her parents are Jewish. Suzy Kolber is now 58. She is the mother of Sandra Kolber and her father is Gene Kolber. Her school was Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 graduate of Penn's Upper Dublin High School. The University of Miami awarded her the Bachelor of Arts (telecommunications) degree in the year 1986. In her undergraduate years she was hired to the post of sports director with Dynamic located in Coral Gables Florida. She was also there for another two years in 1984 and 1986. The time she was employed, she also competed in the University of Miami's water-ski team. In her youth Plaza was a part of the community theater in her hometown of Wilmington acting, performing improv, and directing one-act plays. After graduating of the high school she made the move in New York City. There she attended classes of improv and production of films at Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. Her aphasia diagnosis was discovered at age 20. It is a temporary condition that hinders her capacity to comprehend and express the language.
